20 days to go until GTA 6 on November 19, 2026. As for me, I'm going hunting and fishing as soon as the intro is over. And you, what will you do first in Leonida?

⏳ This Thursday, October 29, 2026, there are only 20 full days left before GTA 6 comes out on Thursday, November 19, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Pre-loading opens in two weeks, and one question keeps coming up among fans: what are we going to do first?

🎣 For me, it'll be hunting and fishing

As for me, my mind is made up: as soon as the game's introduction is over, I'm going hunting and fishing.

And Leonida has plenty to offer. According to Game Informer's cover story, the game has more than 170 animal species, including more than 60 kinds of birds and more than 30 land mammals. The north of the state even offers bass fishing.

On fishing, Rob Nelson of Rockstar North gave a few details to YouTuber TGG (as reported by Game Rant): it is said to be as detailed as in Red Dead Redemption 2, but every fish will have to be released.

As for hunting, Rockstar hasn't detailed everything yet. But Game Informer describes the Grassrivers, the game's Everglades, as swamps full of reptiles, and of sometimes armed hunters. Up north, Mount Kalaga National Park promises forests, rivers and deer.
