🎧 Podcasts and music on foot: the two big new features
This is the real surprise of the announcement. For the first time in the series, GTA 6 offers on-demand podcasts on top of Leonida's traditional radio stations.
And the music no longer stops when you step out of the car. Jason and Lucia can listen to radio and podcasts on foot, with headphones or earbuds connected to their smartphone. 📱
Rockstar hasn't shared the list of podcasts or the total number of stations yet.
🥥 Cocoteo FM: Latin music
Cocoteo FM is Leonida's home for modern Latin music. It's hosted by El Martillo and La Gata.
On the playlist: bachata, merengue, dembow and reggaeton. Its motto, in Spanish: "el party que nunca se apaga", the party that never stops. 🎉
🪕 Back Country Radio: swamp country
On Back Country Radio, MW and Delta Dawne blast renegade country all the way to the Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn and beyond.
The station even has its own field correspondent: Mud Dog Mike, roving reporter, swamp meteorologist… and Delta's not-so-secret lover. He checks in from the driver's seat of his Grassrivers airboat. 🐊
The Grassrivers and Port Gellhorn are two regions of Leonida: find them on our GTA 6 map.
🌍 AfroBank FM: the sounds of Africa
AfroBank FM is hosted by Burna and Palmsy, a duo curating the best in African music.
From 20th-century classics and hidden gems to today's sounds like amapiano and 3-step. The station's motto: "turn up the gbedu". 🔊
🤘 The Chamber 106.6: metal time
Metal has landed in Leonida with The Chamber 106.6. DJ Kerry and DJ Tom play decades of metal anthems, from the '80s and beyond.
Rockstar invites you to "jump in the pit" with them and talks about Leonida's "deep metal roots". Warm up your neck. 😄
⚡ Flash FM: a Vice City legend returns
Flash FM is "the Vice City institution", according to Rockstar: the station for the best in pop, hosted by Robyn and Alex, made to get you dancing anywhere in the "Goodtime State".
Fans know it well: Flash FM was already the big pop station of GTA Vice City, released in 2002, and then of GTA Vice City Stories. More than twenty years later, it's back in Vice City. 😍
"Goodtime State" is the nickname of Leonida, the fictional state where GTA 6 takes place.
🎤 Dirty South Classics: Southern rap
On Dirty South Classics, Trick and Trina serve up "a little southern hospitality": regional rap and hip-hop classics.
"From the beach to the block", nobody reps Leonida and the South like they do, Rockstar promises.
